Causes of shift skipping at busy ends
Skipping gear shift will cause the engine speed at both ends to be too low, and even cause the engine to stop in serious cases. What are the reasons for the jump gear at both ends?
(1) The transmission mechanism is worn. The mechanical shift transmission mechanism is adopted at both ends. The sliding gear sleeve makes axial movement on the fixed gear sleeve and mesh with the driven gear on each gear to achieve shift. In the process of frequent shifting, the tooth end faces of each meshing gear are easy to grind into cones, resulting in the reduction of meshing performance and "skip gear".
(2) Improper adjustment of transmission. The manual shift is adopted for the two ends. If the shift lever, vertical axis, horizontal axis and vertical fixing screws become loose, the transmission can also "jump".
(3) The performance of the small two-end busy self-locking mechanism decreased. In order to prevent "skip gear", the box cover hole and reverse gear on the top of the fork shaft of gears II, III and IV V of the excavator are equipped with steel ball and spring to self-lock. When the spring that plays the role of positioning self-locking is weakened or broken, the self-locking performance of the self-locking mechanism will decline until it disappears, resulting in the transmission "tripping out of gear". At the same time, if the positioning of the steel ball or the groove on the shift fork shaft is worn, it will also cause the transmission "skip".
